Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador program
“ Communities enable members to upscale their technology skills and provide them high visibility among IT recruiters — offering them a unique opportunity to be identified.”
During the lockdown, the ray for tech updates was LinkedIn for me. It was mid-July, and I was scrolling my LinkedIn feeds and came across one of my connection’s post of selection for the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador program.
Subsequently, I searched about the following program on the internet throughout the day, came across many videos for application and surveyed it, talked to the ones who achieved it.
I was amazed by it, so I was determined to strive for success for MSLA selection. According to my, it is particularly important to be a part of the community during your learning process.
So, let us get straight to this!
What is MLSA -
The Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador is a program to sponsor students majoring in disciplines related to technology. The MSP program magnifies students’ employability by offering training in skills not usually shaped in academia, including knowledge of Microsoft technologies. It gives you a lot of exposure, along with community support, and drives you to work most innovatively .Additionally, You work as a mediator to fill in the gaps between technology and Students.

As soon as you click on apply, the below window appears showing different sections of the form.
In the ‘Privacy and Terms’ section, agree to the Privacy Statement and click ‘Next’ to proceed with your application-
- First, personal information must be filled in such as name, pronouns, Country, or region, etc.
- Secondly, Academic Institution Information will be asked like Degree Program, Degree Level, Expected Graduation Date, etc.
- Now pay attention, the most important subject is here:
Written Sample — Here three questions will be mandatory asked which you will have to answer nicely in writing.
Inspire- What excites you about technology and why you want to help other students explore and learn?
Teach- How would you take a technical concept and teach it to a friend or peer that has never heard of it?
Promote- If you were hosting an event at your school, how would you get students to attend?
Also, a demonstration video is necessary for at least one of these questions asked.
(I’ll suggest making the video for all three of them for a better view of your capabilities) - To view your profile distinctly, they need your Social Media links like LinkedIn URL, Pluralsight profile, Stack Overflow, an Instagram, Twitter, online resume, or website. Also, if you have written a technical blog post and maintain your technical blog site, then you can add up links for those as well it may have a spotlight impact on your application.
(fill as many fields as possible) - Lastly, an additional Information box is to be filled where you need to fill out the technologies that interest you.
